The pool area is a highlight, and the tiki vibe is fun. Room cleanliness was an issue. Happy hour at the bar is nice, but also experienced some noise disruptions from nearby parties. Great spot for hiking nearby too!

The pool area is a great spot for relaxation and has a nice vibe. But the rooms are a bit outdated and could use some maintenance. Loved the happy hour at the bar while enjoying time by the pool. Had trouble with the TV channels not working properly during my stay.

Quaint tiki style gives a fun vibe. Super comfy bed and nice flat-screen TV. Shower has great pressure and there's a decent bathroom setup. Love the pool and the Reef Bar on-site for drinks! Easy check-in and out. Plenty of parking, plus good fitness options. Close to breakfast spots. Don't miss this place!

Arriving late was a nightmare! The lobby was locked, and we waited an hour for someone to show up because the guy was sleeping. Our exhausted kids were crying, and it ruined the whole trip for us.

The property is easy to navigate with ample parking. Pleasant pool area and hot tub, consistently uncrowded. Check-in was seamless; shout out to Maribel for her excellent service. Rooms are cozy and clean, featuring a mini living room and daily housekeeping. Staff, especially Edna, provide great support. The location is ideal for exploring nearby attractions. the room needs attention. Worn bedding, limited trash cans, and inadequate AC placement impact comfort. ensure the fridge and coffee maker are clean. Late-night arrivals should note the lobby may be closed, causing frustrating delays. With a few inexpensive upgrades, this place could shine even brighter, maintaining its charm while enhancing guest experience.

Caliente Tropics offers a wonderful island atmosphere, with a sparkling clean pool and relaxing jacuzzi. The staff is exceptionally welcoming, enhancing the charm of this vintage motel. Despite a few minor maintenance issues, the overall experience was enjoyable and kept me coming back for over 20 years!

The Reef Bar’s RiChiChi cocktail was a tropical treat. the room needed serious updates—from a malfunctioning TV to an outdated bathroom. The decor was charming but marred by worn carpets and limited outlets. While it’s a decent budget option, I felt a pull to explore other places on my next trip.

We recently stayed at Caliente Tropics, and I must say, the sitting area in the room was quite comfortable. I was disappointed to find out that there were no ironing facilities available, which made it tricky to keep my clothes looking neat. The air conditioning worked well, but the heating seemed inadequate, especially during the cooler evenings. On the bright side, the garden furniture outside added a nice touch to the overall ambiance of the resort. It was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. The room came with free toiletries, which was a nice touch, but I did notice that the carpeted floor looked a bit worn and could have used a good vacuuming. Housekeeping did a decent job overall, but there were some areas that were missed, like the stains on the carpet and the broken towel hanger in the bathroom. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment, but I found it odd that there was no am/fm alarm clock in the room. One thing that stood out was the welcome drink we received upon arrival, which was a nice gesture. The tours/ticket assistance provided by the staff was helpful in planning our outings. We also enjoyed the happy hour at the bar, although the service was a bit slow. our stay at Caliente Tropics had its ups and downs.

The room had a welcoming atmosphere, but some aspects needed attention. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked exceptionally well during the hot weekend. the room felt tight for our family of four and dog. We struggled with outdated furniture and a musty smell. The shower and vanity were good, but the carpet had noticeable lumps and rips. A deadbolt issue made us feel uneasy, although Nathan offered a room change. It would be great to add hooks for wet towels, and a phone would have been practical. there was potential but still room for improvement.

I loved staying at this hotel because it was only a short Uber ride from downtown, making it so easy to explore iconic spots like the Palm Springs Art Museum and enjoy delicious meals at nearby restaurants like Mr Lyons and El Mirasol, plus it was super fun hanging out by the huge pool amidst the palms and courtyard vibe, just under 1 km from the amazing buzz of Palm Canyon Drive and the BUZZ Trolley route to venture around even more; the staff were friendly and welcoming and the rooms were clean, but the shower's water temperature could have been more consistent.

Being surrounded by nostalgia while enjoying modern luxury was a blast. The jetstream bubbles and tiki torches created a relaxing vibe. The A-list celeb sightings were a cherry on top!
Please, no water interruptions during a shower meltdown.

Location was great, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Enjoyed the heated pool and relaxed evening vibes. Staff was super friendly and the on-site restaurants were delicious.
The room was a mix of outdated and remodeled areas, inconsistent quality. The carpet had rips and lumps, old furniture, and some appliances barely worked.

Our stay at this hidden gem in Palm Springs was easy, comfortable, and fun as couples guests. We loved the retro design, pool, and proximity to local trails and art. The staff provided great service, the room was clean and well-equipped with amenities like a flat-screen TV and refrigerator. The noise from the gardeners' gas leaf blower for 2 hours on Monday, which disrupted the peaceful atmosphere.

Hit up the sick golf course with wild bunkers and killer mountain views, then partied at the Euro-style links course. It was lit!
We need more rad nighttime activities, like lively pool parties or a cool outdoor concert space. More fun stuff for us party animals!

The Polynesian theme was cool, with Easter island stone head statues and themed decor. The receptionist, Edna, was welcoming and gave us great advice on bars. The jacuzzi was perfect for the November weather, and we could upgrade our room if needed.
Room upgrades are needed as wallpaper was peeling, furniture old, and limited plugs for device chargers. Some guests experienced issues with room selection, cleanliness, and amenities like a microwave.

We were pleasantly surprised by the pet-friendly amenities, including a grass yard and the ability to relax by the pool with our furry friend. The private and secluded hot tub also added to our enjoyable stay. I'd recommend this hotel.
